Wet Felted Vessel

Spend the afternoon creating a one-of-a-kind felted bowl! 

In this workshop, you'll learn how to transform wool fibres into three-dimensional form. Choose from a wide selection of gorgeous merino wool colours and other specialty fibres like silk and viscose to create beautiful textured effects.

*A note about the wet felting process: Be prepared for a truly hands-on experience! Wet felting is an active process that relies on plenty of elbow grease through repeated rolling and agitation. Needle Felted Mushroom Folk

Join the fun and learn how to sculpt an adorable mushroom character out of wool! In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll be guided through each step of the needle felting process. You'll have an array of colours and fibre embellishments to choose from to make your mushroom character uniquely your own.

Posable Needle Felted Bear 

Join me for a fun and relaxing felting retreat! In this full-day workshop, we'll be needle felting bears with posable arms and legs. I will guide you through each step in needle felting all the parts of your bear and attaching them together. You can make your bear in any colours you wish -I will have a large selection of gorgeous wool colours for you to choose from! 

This workshop is best suited for those with some needle felting experience (or ambitious beginners).

Poppy

Join me for a relaxing afternoon in the studio as I guide you along each step to create a vibrant felted poppy. 

In this beginner friendly workshop, you'll learn to layer wool, silk, viscose, and other specialty fibres for a painterly effect. Then you'll felt those loose, fluffy fibres  and shape them into a flower. The process is truly magical!

You will leave with a beautiful piece of fibre art to wear in honour of Remembrance Day, complete with a pin to sew on at home once it dries overnight.

This project is a wonderful introduction to sculptural wet felting, and incorporates a bit of needle felting.

Fancy Cats 

Create a one-of-a-kind cat portrait in this playful fibre art workshop. 

We'll have fun needle felting our cats and then embellishing them with stitches and beads for detail and sparkle. Dress your cat up any way you like -how about a  ruffled collar or a beaded crown? Each cat will be a truly unique bedazzled work of art! 

It is a wonderful way to play with texture and colour, and you'll finish your piece by painting a little wooden frame for displaying your fancy cat portrait.

Nuno Felted Vessels

Discover the magic of combining merino wool, silk, and other luxurious fibres to create stunning, sculptural bowls! In this creative workshop, you will learn how to build a 3D vessel using a flat resist and the nuno felting technique.

With an array of colours to choose from, you can make your vessel entirely your own and bring home a completely unique, handcrafted fibre art piece.
