Welcome! The Evergreen Art Studio is a relaxed and supportive space for creative exploration! In each class I introduce art materials and offer instruction on technique, and I encourage students to experiment and make their own creative choices. Age ranges are a recommendation with flexibility depending on each student's needs and experience.

Mindfulness Mondays (Ages 11 and up)
Start your week with creativity, calm, and connection.
Each session begins with a shared story, poem, or mindful game to help us arrive in the moment with openness and compassion. From there, we’ll move into a meditative art activity designed to slow us down and cultivate gentle awareness.
We’ll explore a variety of sensory-rich materials and creative practices—such as nature drawing, watercolour, clay, fibre arts, and more—offering space to reflect and unwind.

ArtPlay (Ages 3–5)
A playful, nurturing morning program for young artists!
We’ll sing songs, read stories, and explore a variety of art materials through open-ended, creative activities. In this small-group setting, children build artistic skills, develop social connections, make joyful messes—and have lots of fun along the way.
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:00-11:00 AM

Please Note: ArtPlay is a drop-off program.
If your child needs extra time to feel comfortable, I’m happy to work with you on a gradual transition plan. Every child is different, and we’ll find an approach that helps them feel safe, supported, and ready to enjoy the program at their own pace. If you have questions or want to chat about a transition plan, feel free to reach out!
Felting with Friends (Ages 8 and up)
Discover the joys of felting! Learn the art of needle felting and wet felting through all-new projects—perfect for both beginners and returning felters. Using high-quality wool and other specialty fibres, we’ll explore a variety of techniques to create beautiful and imaginative felted pieces. Paint with wool to make decorative art, build 3D nature scenes, and craft whimsical puppets, animals, folk figures, and even felted jewelry!

Art Club: Multimedia Fun (Ages 6–12)
Unwind after school with creative projects that spark the imagination! Kids explore drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, sculpture, and more through guided instruction and open-ended art-making. Join us anytime between 3 and 6 PM.

Homeschool Art Day (ages 8 and up)
A full day of creative fun for homeschoolers!
Explore a variety of materials and techniques in a supportive, imaginative environment that encourages self-expression and collaboration. A typical day includes in-studio art activities, a lunch break, and time outdoors for more creative fun and free play.

Felting Workshops
Bring a friend, learn something new, and discover the joys of working with wool! These Saturday workshops offer a variety of needle felting and wet felting projects—some for adults, others designed just for kids. You will be guided step by step to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind felted pieces in a fun, relaxed setting.
