This fall, discover the joys of felting with these beginner friendly workshops! Evergreen Studio is a cozy space to connect and create, located by Hampton Park -also home to two friendly cats.
My workshops offer a relaxing retreat to learn new skills through step-by-step guidance, while always leaving room for your own imagination and creative choices.
Cost includes all materials -plus tea and snacks!
A note on timing: While we may finish early, I schedule in extra time so everyone can create at a relaxed, unhurried pace.

Needle Felted Froggie
Learn needle felting basics in this fun afternoon workshop, and take home an adorable little frog. You can make your frog in any colours you wish (I've got all the colours!).
A fun little project for beginner needle felters or for anyone who loves making cute characters.

Felted Flowers
A fun and relaxing introduction to sculptural wet felting.
Create three flowers in colours of your choice from soft merino wool. Learn how to make and attach felted cords for stems, and shape your flowers. Display your finished flowers in a vase or pin them on a coat or bag.

Autumn Leaves
Celebrate the colours of the season with a creative felting workshop!
We’ll begin with a walk through Hampton Park to gather inspiration -and leaves! Back in the studio, we'll craft our own colourful leaves out of gorgeous merino wool. You'll be able to make make 3-5 leaves, depending on their size. I like to hang my felted leaves with invisible thread. They would also look lovely on a fall table.

Wet Felted bowl
Spend the afternoon creating a one-of-a-kind felted vessel!
In this workshop, you'll learn how to transform wool fibres into three-dimensional form. Choose from a wide selection of gorgeous merino wool colours and other specialty fibres like silk and viscose to create painterly and textured effects.

A note about the wet felting process
Be prepared for a truly hands-on experience! Wet felting is an active process that relies on plenty of elbow grease through repeated rolling and agitation. If you have any concerns about the physical nature of the process, I’m happy to chat more about what to expect.
