Registration is open for kids programs beginning in September -small group classes for ages 3 yrs-teens.
Age ranges are a recommendation with flexibility depending on each student's needs and experience.
Classes take place in my home studio near Hampton Park (contact me for address details).

Creative Calm (Ages 9 and up)
Start your week with a dose of calm and creativity.
Each session begins with a short story, poem, or creative warm-up to help us settle in.
From there, we'll dive into relaxing and engaging art activities including drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, and more. We'll also use sensory rich materials like beeswax clay, and natural fibres. You'll get to try out different ways of making art that encourage you slow down, and enjoy the process.
This is a low-pressure space to experiment and make interesting art!

ArtPlay (Ages 3–5)
A playful, nurturing morning program for young artists!
We’ll sing songs, read stories, and explore a variety of art materials through open-ended, creative activities. In this small-group setting, children build artistic skills, develop social connections, make joyful messes—and have lots of fun along the way.
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:00-11:00 AM

Please Note: ArtPlay is a drop-off program.
If your child needs extra time to feel comfortable, I’m happy to work with you on a gradual transition plan. Every child is different, and we’ll find an approach that helps them feel safe, supported, and ready to enjoy the program at their own pace. If you have questions or want to chat about a transition plan, feel free to reach out!
Felting with Friends (Ages 8 and up)
Discover the joys of felting! Learn the art of needle felting and wet felting through all-new projects—perfect for both beginners and returning felters. Using high-quality wool and other specialty fibres, we’ll explore a variety of techniques to create beautiful and imaginative felted pieces. Paint with wool to make decorative art, build 3D nature scenes, and craft whimsical puppets, animals, folk figures, and even felted jewelry!

Art Club: Multimedia Fun (Ages 6–12)
Unwind after school with creative projects that spark the imagination! Kids explore drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, sculpture, and more through guided instruction and open-ended art-making. Join us anytime between 3 and 6 PM.

A full day of creative fun for homeschoolers!
Explore a variety of materials and techniques in a supportive, imaginative environment that encourages self-expression and collaboration. A typical day includes in-studio art activities, a lunch break, and time outdoors for more creative fun and free play.

The Enchanted Studio: A Magical Art Adventure
Ages 6–9 yrs
Welcome to The Enchanted Studio—a playful and imaginative art class where magical ideas come to life through creative exploration. Young artists will dive into drawing, painting, sculpture, and fibre arts as they dream up enchanted objects and whimsical worlds of their own.
Over the course of this 10 week program, we’ll create magical pouches and wands, craft disguises like masks and capes, and design one-of-a-kind mythical characters and creatures. Along the way, children will explore texture, colour, shape, and storytelling through joyful artistic expression.
Perfect for curious minds and creative spirits, this class invites kids to imagine boldly, explore freely, and bring their magical visions to life through art.

Visual Drama Lab: A Creative Arts Mash-Up
Ages 10-13 yrs
Step into the Visual Drama Lab—a vibrant and imaginative space where young artists explore the art of storytelling through the lens of visual design and theatre. This 12 week multidisciplinary course combines the expressive power of drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, and fibre arts with the magic of theatrical design.
Students will dive into the world behind the scenes—exploring how mood, setting, and character are brought to life through costumes, props, sets, makeup, and lighting. We'll tour the National Gallery to discover how visual artists tell powerful stories through their work and examine how expressive choices shape what we feel and understand.
Back in the studio, students will work independently and collaboratively to design and build theatre-inspired creations. They’ll experiment with portrait photography using dramatic poses and lighting, and explore puppetry as another playful way to animate their ideas.
This class is perfect for young artists and creative thinkers who love storytelling, collaboration, hands-on projects, and seeing their ideas come to life in bold, expressive ways.
