I offer workshops for adults and for kids. Teens are welcome to register for either the adult or kids' workshops. Find all the details below.

Autumn Trees Wet Felted Art 

Adult Workshop

Celebrate the beauty of fall with a cozy day of creativity!

We’ll begin with a peaceful walk through Hampton Park to take in the vibrant colours of the season and gather leaves for inspiration. Back in the studio, you’ll use the wet felting method to create a rich, textured art piece featuring autumn trees. We’ll work with wool and specialty fibres to explore colour, texture, and natural forms.

This is a relaxed, full-day workshop -take your time, and let nature spark your creativity.

Needle Felted Sheep 

Adult Workshop

A favourite workshop at Evergreen -perfect for beginners!

Discover the basics of needle felting as you create an adorable little sheep — there’s something especially fun about making sheep from real sheep’s wool. You’ll be guided step-by-step through the process and can choose from a wide array of beautiful colours to make your creation uniquely yours.

Wet-Felted Jack-o'-Lantern 

for kids ages 7 and up

Spooky felting fun!

In this festive Halloween workshop, kids will create their very own little Jack-o’-lantern using colourful wool and the wet felting method. Each participant will take home a glowing felted pumpkin—perfect for Halloween decorating!

All materials are provided, including a safe LED tea light to bring your pumpkin to life.

Needle Felted Owl 

Adult Workshop

The perfect fall project: felting your own wise owl. 

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you will learn how to transform soft wool fibres into a solid 3-D shape, using special barbed needles. You will be guided step by step through the essential needle felting techniques needed to create your own beautiful owl. 

All materials are provided including needles and a felting mat for you to take home.

Winter Gnomes 

Adult Workshop

Create a magical gnome to bring cheer to the colder months!

This playful session introdces you to simple 3-D needle felting techniques while sparking your imagination. You'll be guided step-by-step to create your own unique character to keep or give as a gift. Along with your gnome, you'll take home your needles and felting mat, and you'll be able to apply what you learn to future needle felting projects.

Pasta Machine Prints - Holiday Art Cards 

Adult Workshop

Discover a fresh twist on printmaking!

In this creative workshop, we’ll use a pasta machine as a mini printing press to create a series of small, expressive art prints. I’ll guide you through each step as you design and print your images. Then we'll add watercolour details to our prints and use them to make unique holiday cards — you may also choose to frame your mini works of art. 

Enjoy a relaxed, creative afternoon full of printmaking fun.

No art experience necessary.

Stocking Ornaments 

Adult Workshop

Create an adorable pair of mini felted Christmas stockings!

A great beginner felting project! Learn how to wet felt on a resist to create wooly ornaments.

You'll have a beautiful selection of colourful wool and speciality fibres to embellish your mini stockings. Hang them on your tree, give them as gifts -and even fill them with more tiny gifts!

Felted Lantern 

Adult Workshop

Transform luxurious wool into a glowing handmade lantern!

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll be guided step-by-step as your learn the wet felting over a resist technique to shape your lantern. We'll work with a beautiful mix of fibres including Merino wool, silk, and more in an array of vibrant colours. All materials are provided, including a safe tea light to illuminate your lantern for the winter nights.
